Krongrad Institute Engages Caribbean Prostate Cancer
The Krongrad Institute has been meeting with thought leaders in the Caribbean. Spearheading the effort to better understand prostate cancer in the Caribbean has been Executive Vice President Shai Gold, who met in Miami recently with a number of Health Ministers. This effort supplements recent trips by Mr. Gold and Dr. Krongrad to Antigua, Cayman Islands, Turks & Caicos, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and Panama. On these trips the two have engaged everything from the need for basic equipment, such as ultrasound machines, to the emerging concept of medical tourism.
